On 11, XR and SE an LCD is cheaper and visibly worse in the dark. We price both and let you pick rather than quietly fitting the cheap one.

Display power is generated on the logic board. When that fails the picture dies with the glass intact, and a new screen changes nothing.

A bent frame stops the new panel sitting flat and it cracks again in a week. We check the frame before fitting, not after.

The screen is the visible half. We open it, look at the board, and quote both rather than fitting a panel onto a corroded phone.
